We are delighted to announce the 22nd edition of The Red & White, our flagship fundraising event in support of over 40 West Island community organizations, proudly presented by Pfizer Canada, Broccolini, Revline Industries, and Scotiabank.

Taking place on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 40 Westt Restaurant, this year’s annual celebration will honour Local Leaders whose vision, dedication, and actions are making a meaningful difference across the West Island.

More than 300 business executives, donors, and community leaders will gather for an exceptional evening featuring a networking cocktail, a gourmet dinner, a raffle, an online auction, and a live auction—all in support of building a stronger, resilient, inclusive and healthy community.

At the heart of The Red & White is a shared commitment to supporting our most vulnerable neighbours, right here at home. West Island Community Shares supports over 40 local community organizations delivering vital front-line services—from food security and mental health programs to initiatives for youth, seniors, and families in crisis—reaching more than 65,000 neighbours in need each year.

While the event is now sold out, there are still meaningful ways to support this important cause. You can contribute by donating an auction item to help us raise additional funds or by making a direct donation in support of the West Island community sector.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting to explore community engagement, this Speed Dating session is a unique opportunity to learn what it means to serve on a Board, what’s expected, and how you can help shape a stronger West Island.

West Island Community Shares, in collaboration with Volunteer West Island will moderate a panel discussion with professionals who will share their perspectives and answer your questions. Immediately after the panel, you will meet community organizations currently looking for new Board members.
This special Speed Dating event will take place at the offices of PME MTL Ouest-de-l’Île, who have generously opened their doors to support the growth and impact of the West Island’s community sector making gatherings like this possible.

Bonus: free and convenient parking on site!

With winter just around the corner, we invite you to make a difference by supporting the Snowsuit Campaign, our annual fundraising initiative proudly powered by BMO Bank of Montreal West Island branches*. This heartwarming campaign provides vulnerable children in our community with brand-new snowsuits-- complete with hats, mittens, and neck warmers--, ensuring they stay warm and protected throughout the winter season.

This year, the children receiving snowsuits have been referred to us by the three food banks we proudly support:

• West Island Mission
• On Rock Community Services
• West Island Assistance Fund

A warm snowsuit not only ensures children can get to school comfortably, but also allows them to embrace the magic of winter. Whether they’re building forts, making snowmen, or creating snow angels, they can enjoy the outdoors while staying cozy and protected, thanks to winter gear suited to our harsh climate.
Sadly, many children face a harsh reality during the winter months, enduring the cold without proper clothing. With rising inflation and a housing crisis, countless families are struggling just to meet basic needs, leaving little room for winter essentials. But with your help, we can change that. Every donation, no matter the size, brings warmth and comfort to a child in need and makes a truly meaningful impact.
